Infilling other salon’s work and why we can’t always do it!

At Beaches Lash co we offer to infill other salons work to save you from having to have them removed and paying for a new set of lashes. While we do our best to always offer this service, sometimes we can’t and will have too removed all remaining lashes first.

There are 3 reasons why this might be the case:

1. Poor Application

Every salon has its own technique and standards for lash extension application and if we have concerns about the application we will not infill and have to remove any remaining lashes.

This poor application could include the use of too much glue or poor isolation resulting in lashes sticking together. Not only does this affect the look of the lashes but will affect your lash health.

2.  Lashes previously applied are too long or thick.

As part of our lash consultation we will style lashes based on your eye shape and choose length and thickness based on your natural lashes. This will enhance your look as well as keeping your own lashes healthy and maximise retention. If we feel the lashes applied previously are too long or heavy for your natural lash we will recommend removing them so not to cause any damage.

Once you leave us with some of our lashes it is now our reputation on your lashes and we only want them to look the best they can.

3. Your Natural Lashes are damaged

For any of the reasons above your own lashes may be damaged and be pulled out prematurely, so we will now need to remove any remaining lashes to stop any continuing damage. It may be recommended to have a break to let your lashes recover.

In our New Client Infill service we allow extra time to carry out full lash assessment. If we can go ahead with infills, we then will do a personalised lash mapping and set out a full lash style plan. Depending on your previous set it may take a couple of infill appointments to get new desired look while the old lashes full out naturally.

If it is determined that lash removal is the best option we can go ahead and remove them with our debonder that breaks down the glue gently and quickly. We will then rebook you in for a new set at the next availability.
