Lip Blush and why you need it!

Lip Blush adds colour and definition to your lips, giving the illusion of fuller lips without the need for dermal filler! You can choose to go as bold or natural as you like and the pigment and colour choices are tailored to you.

Clients have reported minimal pain during the treatment and have said it is much easier to handle than lip fillers!

It is important to note however there is aftercare involved and lips do swell up after treatment (similarly to when you get fillers). The colour softens once healed by up to 70%.

So how will a lip blush appointment go?

Step 1: Colour Consultation

Your skin tone and natural lip colour will be assessed and you’ll be shown a selection of colours recommended to suit you. There are also lip glosses available to test out colours before committing.

Step 2: Numbing

A topical anaesthetic is applied all over your lips for 30 minutes to numb the area.

Step 3: Pre Draw

By mapping and measuring your lips, we are able to provide a stencil of the desired outcome, mainly following your natural lip shape but small tweaks can be made to achieve the desired outcome.

Step 4: Outline

Pigment is implanted just below the surface of the skin using thin needles. First a super fine outline of the lips is created as a guide.

Step 5: Blush

The rest of the lip is then lightly coloured all over. It takes a few passes to fill the colour, but it is done in small sections to minimise discomfort. Numbing cream is also applied between passes to keep you as comfortable as possible.

Step 6: Clean and gloss

The whole area is wipe clean and a balm is applied to moisturise and soothe the lips and then you are done!

Step 7: Aftercare

You will then be explained the aftercare required and provided with aftercare cream to apply several times a day to your lips.
