At home lash lift?

At home lash lift?
Why we would never recommend trying to lift your lashes at home..

While the idea of a DIY lash lift sounds amazing for your wallet, it is incredibly easy to overprocess your lashes at home, leading to a tight, unnatural "C-curl" or lashes that bend backwards into your eyelid.

Lash lift solutions use strong chemicals to break down the hair bonds. Leaving the solution on for even 30 seconds too long can result in fried, brittle, and shorter looking lashes

What can I do if I’ve over-curled them?

If you have already over curled your lashes, we can assess and depending on the damage we can relax the last lift.

Example below of an over processed lash lift (not our work). The client did this lift at home and we fixed it for her.

Will relaxing them do more damage?

If the lash lift was overcurled from using a silicone shield or rod that was too small, the lashes are still relatively healthy and can handle being relaxed

If the lashes were “fried” from leaving the chemical solution on too long then we do risk damaging the lashes further and may not be able to relax them

Hydration is key

We recommend using a hydration lash serum after every lash lift but it is absolutely necessary after an overcurl or relaxation.

A lash lift is a chemical process regardless if its being done by a professional or at home. Using a hydrating serum will help with any dryness, making your lash lift look better and last longer
